" HOLD ON LIKE A SOLDIER "

After some rough testing riding enduro at home I took the Volpe Concept rally kit on my KTM 500 EXCF on its first rally race in Tunisia.

It is not the first rally kit I own, I’ve been through several brands already using them for racing or travelling so I know what I want and what I don’t like. First of all I was very surprised by the weight of the tower, it’s very close of the feeling of a carbon tower except you have all the benefits of aluminium, mainly the fact that you can always fix it !

One of the most important feature of a navigation tower is the possibility to install lots of things on it. I manage to install my tablet, the GPS tracker of the organisation, my toolkit, first aid kit, spare zip ties, store all the necessary wiring inside and still had some spare place. Overall after 7 days of racing I did not loose a single nut, the tower hold on like a soldier through the fast rocky section, the big sand dunes and few crashes I have to admit.

Solid work from Volpe Concept, I’m already looking forward to the next adventure with it.
